Best UK city for a first meetup, in your experience?

Curious what people think here. I've had good experiences meeting in York, plenty of nice quiet places for a coffee and a chat without it feeling too much like a job interview. What's worked well for you lot?

Edinburgh does it for me, there's always somewhere interesting to walk to afterwards if things are going well, and somewhere quick to duck into if they're not.

Anywhere with decent coffee, to be honest.
