Small talk before meeting someone, yes or no?

A little goes a long way for me too, enough to know there's something worth turning up for.

Curious what people think. I quite like a bit of back and forth beforehand so it's not two total strangers turning up, but I know some people prefer to keep messaging short and just meet.

Depends on the person honestly. Some conversations flow and some feel like pulling teeth, and that tells you plenty before you've even met.
